Tiktok maintains the position of Top 1 Social Media in the first quarter of 2022

Tiktok still retains its position as the social media platform of 2021 when according to the latest statistics from Sensor Tower, TikTok is the most downloaded application in the first quarter of 2022.

Overcoming many platforms such as, statistics show that TikTok is more popular with users on the App Store, temporarily ranked 3rd in terms of downloads on Google Play.

Notably, CapCut – the TikTok video editing application jointly owned by the parent company ByteDance, also reached the top of the chart. This result confirms the undeniable influence of the TikTok trend on users and creators around the world.

Besides, TikTok also ranked 1st in the sales chart obtained from the App Store, ranked 2nd on Google Play. In terms of overall rankings, TikTok is still the leading application in terms of user spending. Aggregate revenue from TikTok and Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok), the app grossed $840 million in the first quarter of 2022 alone.

This is not surprising when Tiktok’s growth has always been at the top since the end of 2020, reaching 1 billion monthly users. When the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic was still complicated, people were used to Tiktok and how the platform dominated the market.
