Sky Mavis’s Axie Infinity project

Sky Mavis raised $152 million in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) investment fund. The management company of Axie Infinity will attract more talent, expand scale, and infrastructure. The company will continue to grow, supporting the development of NFT games. Axie is currently the largest NFT project. The number of crypto users and transactions on the NFT market has also increased. Sky Mavis will upgrade Axie. The company will issue Ronin DEX. This is a decentralised AXS, SLP exchange. Sky Mavis will also develop the big Project K game. The development team wants to make Axie a dynamic ecosystem.

Genetica formed a partnership with Oasis Labs

Genetica is a genetic engineering company that applies AI, molecular biology technology to copyright chips. This company works on Asian genomes. Genetica provides personalised healthcare information. This information helps optimise nutrition, exercise, lifestyle changes, and genetic disease risk assessment. Oasis Labs is the data security software company that builds the Oasis Network. This network supports financial privacy and data economics. Genetica integrates the Parcel solution on the Oasis Network, giving customers control of their genomic data. Customers are able to own their genetic information. They can use the data for personal purposes. This ensures optimal privacy without compromising product utility.

Bizzi received a big Pre-Series A investment of $3 million

Bizzi is an electronic invoice processing platform. This platform raised $3 million in Pre-Series A. This round was led by Japanese FinTech/SaaS Money Forward. Do Ventures and Qualgro also participated. This is the first Vietnamese startup specialising in providing invoice processing automation solutions. The company processes through AI and robotics (RPA). More than 100 major customers and 4,000 vendors use the platform daily. The total value of monthly invoices processed on Bizzi has reached more than $300 million.

Mekong Capital invested $15 million in Gene Solutions

MEF IV has invested $15 million in Gene Solutions Joint Stock Company. This company pioneers in the genetics field of Vietnam. The company was established in 2017 by experts in medical genetics, cancer biology, clinical medicine, and biotechnology. This company will develop the distribution network. The company will also expand the application of advanced technology in genetic testing. MEF IV is the Mekong Enterprise Fund IV of Mekong Capital.

Ula received a big Series B investment of $87 million

On October 4, e-commerce startup Ula said it had raised $87 million in Series B. This funding round was led by Prosus Ventures, Tencent, and B Capital. Billionaire Jeff Bezos also participated in this round. The Amazon president invested through his family office, Bezos Expeditions. Amazon has almost no investment in most of Southeast Asia. Ula has raised more than $30 million, attracting many famous funds.
