Founded in 2013, Startup Wheel is co-organized by the Business Startup Support Centre (BSSC), the Ho Chi Minh City Young Businesspeople Association (YBA), and IBP – Investment & Business Partners.
Over the past 13 years, the program has grown into one of the largest startup competitions in Southeast Asia, recognized by the international community as a level playing field for both Vietnamese and global startups.
In 2025, Startup Wheel received 2,144 applications, selecting 80 outstanding projects from Vietnam and abroad for the Semi-final Round, and 15 top startups advancing to the Final Round at InnoEx. The competition brought together over 120 judges, including leading Vietnamese entrepreneurs, international experts, venture capital representatives, and startup ecosystem enablers.
